Susan contacted me in early August about officiating hers and Henry's wedding on September 28, 2013 at the Knights of Columbus Club in East Raleigh. Her wedding time was 4:00 and so it fit in perfectly with the other wedding I had booked for 6:00. Both Susan and Henry had been married before and wanted a "civil ceremony in a rose garden, followed by friends and family indoors at a tropical-themed buffet dinner."  We made all the arrangements via email and PayPal and I met them for the first time in person at their wedding.
The site was ready except for getting the DJ's speakers out of the aisle and to the side. They had the cutest fans for programs in each chair along with a bell to ring when they kissed.
We processed in from the side of the building. Following me is Henry's son, Brad, and his little boy who is holding the box that the rings are in for the ring-warming. Behind Brad is Henry, the groom!
Susan's friend, Linda, is directing the processional and is ready now to send in the maid and matron of honor next.
Here comes the bride!
Susan's friend, Don, said a prayer.
Linda, doubling as director and reader, shared a reading on marriage.
Susan and Henry, I hope you are having a fabulous honeymoon in Costa Rica and enjoy wedding bliss forever!
