Amber and JD are so thankful that their mothers played matchmakers and got them together back in 2008. It was a match made in heaven just as their mothers, Jaima and Carol, knew it would be. We made sure to thank them for that in the ceremony.
Their wedding was on June 4, 2011 at the wonderful historic St. Mark's Chapel on the Mordecai Campus in downtown Raleigh.
Amber's sister, April, was her matron of honor and JD's sister, Jessie, served as his Best Woman. They are waiting to be cued to walk down the aisle.
Amber's father, Doug, was happy for the honor of escorting her down the aisle.

The presentation of the bride by her father who then transferred her hand into JD's and they stepped up onto the altar with me.

Here you can see our photographer, Kimberlee Edwards, on the left. I have linked to her blog of this wonderful wedding and some really great photos of JD and Amber during the ceremony and at their reception at Amber's parents' home in Creedmoor. On the right side of this photo are our musicians from North Carolina Wedding Music, Molly Olah and Nate Leyland.

They read their vows to each other from my book while placing the rings on each other's fingers.

And they are married!
I presented them to their guests, the music began and out they went. I took my readers off and rubbed the spot where they sat on my nose!

Amber and JD, congratulations! May you find happiness making each other happy and may you find love loving each other!
