Jenny and Steve chose 10/10/10 as their wedding date, not for its numerical significance, but because it worked best for their schedules. Jenny is a costume designer for a local theater and Steve works with contractors and architects. They are a delightful couple who knew they wanted a less formal wedding in a casual setting where they and their guests could really celebrate. Caffe Luna was the perfect setting for them. When Marty and I arrived for the wedding to set up my sound system, the musicians were already setting up.
This group of musicians is known as the DeForest String Artists and consist of Julie Frederick on flute, Phil Warren on cello and Randelyn Emerson on violin. They were superb! Wish they had a website I could link to.
This beautiful cake was made by Ashley's Cakes. It fit their color scheme perfectly.
We began with the seating of Jenny's grandmother, sitting here to the right. Then Curtiss, Steve's father and best man, escorted in Faye, mother of the groom. She is seated next to Jenny's grandmother and he stood up next to Steve. Then the mother of the bride, Lynn, was escorted in. James, father of the bride, escorted in Jenny. Her dress was gorgeous and fit her perfectly--as we would expect of a costume designer, right? Her head veil was made by our wedding director, Betsy. There are two bridesmaids, Heather and Laura, but somehow I don't have a photo with them in it. Sorry, girls. They were dressed in black carrying red roses.
Jenny and Steve, congratulations on your marriage and for finding each other. I think you are such a great couple and fit each other so well. I know you will have much happiness!
